Savannah

Not really a lot to say today except that I decided to start my little adventure on the worst possible day.  Well, weather wise.  It has not stopped either raining or drizzling for three straight days.  I was lucky enough to walk the Wannamaker Trail without too much rain but it was really, really, really soggy.

My plan for today was to take in the USS Yorktown, and yes, much of it would have been inside but I just didn't feel like missing the outside and the simple joy of enjoying being on an American masterpiece on a beautiful day; so I'll wait for another time.

I'm in Savannah, Georgia tonight.  Set my direction to go see and walk the trails in and around the Savannah National Wildlife Refuge.  Funny thing about direction, they don't always take you where you want to go.  I ended up at an old entrance to the Savannah Sugar Factory.  What a hoot!  But I'm not giving up.  I'll map it out and head out there tomorrow after breakfast.  Knees are still achy but are getting better.  I'll wear my braces tomorrow.

Looks like Panera Bread is turning out to be my internet station of choice.  Stopped at a McAlister's Deli last night and no electrical outlets.  Well, they lost me.

Pray it doesn't rain on me tomorrow.
